In 2017, Evolution Gaming introduced it as the first game to use the so-called Money wheel, which they had custom-made. The central element is the vertical wheel in the middle of the studio, which is regularly spun by the host. Its surface is divided into 54 colored sections. On 52 of them, there are numbers 1 (23 sections), 2 (15 sections), 5 (7 sections), 10 (4 sections), 20 (2 sections), and 40 (1 section). If players bet on one of these sections, then in case of a win, this number multiplies their bet. The remaining two sections contain multipliers x2 and x7. The principle of the game is betting on numbers, on which players believe the wheel will stop after spinning. The indicator of the result is a leather pointer hanging at the top of the wheel. Immediately after it stops, players know whether their bet is winning or not, and winnings are paid out to them immediately if they win.

How to play Dream Catcher

Players have a limited time to place their bets, and they use a traffic light to orient themselves. If it is green, there is room for placing new bets. The orange color warns players that the time limit is approaching, and red strictly closes betting. Players who did not manage to bet in the given round must wait until the game is open to them again. Until then, they just watch its progress.

Placing bets

Each player has a betting table with 6 fields on the screen with numerical values 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40. First, they choose the value of the chips they want to bet and then a specific number. By clicking on the selected number again, they increase their bet. In each round, they can bet on up to 6 betting spots and use the “BET ON ALL” button. After placing bets, the host spins the wheel and after evaluating the result, winning bets are paid out. Then players are offered the option to place the same bet again, double it, or place a completely new one.

Game customization

In the settings, players can customize the betting system to their needs. There is even an “autoplay” option, which allows continuous play according to pre-set criteria. They can also use keyboard shortcuts, where the space bar doubles the bet, and the “delete” button removes all bets. The video quality can also be adjusted, especially in the case of a weaker internet connection.

Game winnings

If a player bets on the winning number, their bet is multiplied by that number. In the case of number 2, they receive double the bet, with 5 five times, 10 multiplies their bet by ten, and so on. However, if the spinning wheel stops on one of the multipliers (x2 or x7), the possible winnings are multiplied by that multiplier. At that moment, all bets are paused, and the result of the next round is awaited. If the multiplier appears again, its value is further multiplied. The x2 multiplier doubles the players’ base bet twice and the x7 multiplier seven times. Their combination then increases bets fourteen times or more, depending on how many times the multiplier has been spun consecutively. The host spins the wheel until it stops on a field with a specific number. The highest possible win in the Dream Catcher game is €20,000 (more than 500,000 CZK). The reported return to player (RTP) ranges from 90.57% – 96.58%.
