In 2017, the studio Evolution Gaming introduced the first game of the gaming show type under the name Dream Catcher. It was really successful among players, so they quickly started working on other games to bring their users the best gaming experience. Three years later, on June 10, 2020, they introduced the game called Crazy Time, operating on the same principle as the wheel of fortune, but promising many more prizes.

The playing wheel is divided into 54 fields, which hide 4 unique interactive bonuses. The moderator regularly spins the wheel and comments on the game. Immediately after each spin, a two-reel slot machine located under the wheel also spins. It selects a random bonus multiplier and certain fields from the wheel to which this bonus will apply in that spin. The goal of the players is to guess on which field the wheel will stop.

As mentioned above, in this game players place bets on a specific field on the playing wheel, where they believe the wheel will stop after spinning. They have a choice of 8 different types of fields, of which four are numbered and four represent bonus mini-games. Their winnings then directly depend on the accuracy of their guess and the assigned multiplier. Numbered fields multiply their bet and the bonus mini-games further increase their winnings.

The average RTP (return to player), that is, the long-term return of staked money, is 96.08% when betting on fields that multiply the original bet only once. However, its value changes depending on which field the spun wheel stops on, as can be seen in the table below.

These fields can bring players really high winnings, with the highest reaching up to €20,000 (more than 12 million CZK) if the wheel stops directly on the Crazy Time field. However, each bonus mini-game can significantly increase the players’ winnings. They make the game not only more varied and fun but also much more attractive.

Coin Flip

In this mini-game, players play for one of two prizes, which depends on which side (red or blue) the coin lands on. Each of them is randomly assigned a multiplier, which then multiplies the staked amount. If the result of the flip is very low, players usually have the option to use a so-called “rescue flip” and play to reach a higher multiplier.

Pachinko bonus

This game takes place on a wall with many “pegs” (slots) and 16 prizes located at the bottom. The game operator releases a puck, and players win according to where it lands. During its journey, the puck hits various pegs until it lands on one of the prizes. If it lands on the “DOUBLE” value, all multipliers at the bottom double. The puck is thrown until one of the multipliers is selected or until they reach a multiplier of 10,000x. The DOUBLE field is then replaced by this multiplier. Here too, players have a “rescue drop” available if their multiplier is too low.

Cash Hunt

In this mini-game, players play on a wall where 108 multipliers are randomly generated. They are displayed to the player for only a few seconds, and then hidden and shuffled. The player thus knows what they can win but does not know where the symbol is located. Then they shoot from a cannon aiming to hit the symbol representing the highest possible win. After shooting, all symbols are revealed again.

Crazy Time

If Crazy Time is hit, players will see a new wheel with 64 fields with really attractive bonus multipliers. First, the player chooses a color from green, blue, and yellow, which are the arrows located at the top of the wheel. The wheel is then spun and the player wins the prize located under the arrow of their chosen color. If one of them stops on the DOUBLE or TRIPLE field, the wheel is spun again and all multipliers are multiplied by that value. If it repeatedly stops on one of these values, it is spun until it reaches the highest multiplier of 20,000x. All multipliers are then replaced by this multiplier.
