The rules of this game are very simple, but winning the top prize is not easy. Players select a number sequence representing a date based on their guess of what numbers will be drawn on a given day. In the first column, they pick numbers between 1 and 31, in the second 1 to 12, and in the third 00 to 99. The winnings depend on the number of correctly guessed numbers, with a total of 7 prize tiers. If the player guesses the full date correctly and bets the maximum amount, they win the full million-crown prize.

How to check the game results?
The results of the Lucky Date lottery draw are published right after the draw on the Sazka website in the “LOTTERY” section as well as in the Sazka mobile app. They are also available immediately after the draw at all Sazka sales points. However, if a player chooses to buy a physical ticket at a specific location, they must keep the bet confirmation. This receipt is the only proof of ownership of the bet and allows the winnings to be paid out.
How the game works
To participate in Sazka’s Lucky Date game, players purchase a game ticket and select any numbers from the given ranges. These numbers are meant to represent a lucky date. During the draw, three winning numbers are selected. The minimum bet to enter the game is €2, and the maximum bet is €4. The odds of guessing the exact date correctly are only 1:37,200, as there are 37,200 different combinations to form a date. However, the chances of winning a smaller prize are significantly higher.
Sazka allows players to repeat their specific bet using a subscription. This means they can place multiple bets on one ticket, with varying starting amounts. At any location with a Sazka terminal or via online betting, they can select the number of consecutive draws they want to participate in with the same ticket. The maximum is 7 consecutive games.

Draw process
The winning numbers are drawn every day, including weekends and public holidays. The draw starts between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. This means players theoretically have until 8:00 PM to place their final bets, especially if they decide to participate in the Lucky Date game online. Once the betting window closes, a random number generator selects three winning numbers, which determine the prize for the player holding the winning ticket.
Winning options
Players in Sazka’s Lucky Date game can win in one of 7 prize tiers. The final prize is determined by a win multiplier, so it’s enough to correctly guess just 1 of the 3 numbers. If the player manages to correctly guess all three numbers, the prize will be either €20,000 or €40,000, depending on the amount of their initial bet. The win multiplier is determined by the position of the correctly guessed numbers and multiplies the original stake, as shown in the table:

How to claim your winnings?
If a player wins up to €40 in the Sazka Lucky Date game, they can collect it at any location with a Sazka terminal. Winnings of up to €4,000 can be collected at any Sazka sales point by prior arrangement. Amounts between €4,000 and €10,000 can also be collected by prior arrangement, but only at selected sales locations. Larger winnings are paid out at the company headquarters: SAZKA, a.s., Evropská 866/69, Prague 6, and only after a pre-arranged appointment.
For online bets, players can cash out their winnings at any Sazka sales point in a cashless form up to a limit of €200 per day or €20,000 per week. If you placed your bet online, the winnings will be automatically credited to your player account.

All players over 18 years of age can participate in the Sazka Lucky Date game by purchasing a ticket and selecting three numbers. This can be done at any Sazka terminal location or online via the Sazka website or their mobile app. Results are immediately available both online and in the app, so players can conveniently access all the necessary information in one place. The betting process is nearly identical in all cases, so there’s no need to worry about how it works.
As mentioned, the jackpot ranges from €10 million to €120 million, and the exact amount for each draw varies depending on the total bets placed and the number of winners. You can win the entire jackpot even with just one played column, which costs €2.50.
Depending on the numbers guessed, winnings are divided into twelve levels. To win the jackpot, you must guess 5 numbers from the main pool and both numbers from the secondary pool. For the lowest prize, it’s enough to correctly guess two numbers from the main pool and one additional number from the secondary pool.
If no one matches the required numbers for the top prize, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw. Once the jackpot reaches the cap of €120 million, all additional money is redistributed to the second prize level, then the third, and so on. The average second-tier prize is approximately €600,000.

Lottery tax
Lottery winnings, like other types of income, are subject to tax. As of January 1, 2024, the tax exemption limit for income from gambling has been reduced from CZK 1,000,000 to CZK 50,000. Any winnings exceeding this limit are now subject to a 15% withholding tax. However, players are not required to report or pay the tax themselves, as the lottery company automatically deducts and pays the tax on their behalf.
Individual winnings are not added together within a single tax period. This means that each winning is taxed separately. So if, for example, you win CZK 40,000, 30,000, and 40,000 on three separate tickets in one tax period (a total of CZK 110,000), none of the winnings will be taxed, as each individual amount is under the CZK 50,000 threshold.
