As we all already know, Survivor is a popular strategic betting competition where the goal is to “survive” until the very end. But what exactly is the principle of the competition, and which events does it cover? Survivor usually relates to a specific sports tournament, or a part of it, where participants are eliminated. The best example would be all tennis Grand Slams, but fans of other sports can also look forward to Survivor competitions, such as the football World Cup or the World Grand Prix in darts. The system is simple, in each round you choose your favorite. If your chosen athlete (or team) wins their match and advances in the tournament, you continue in Survivor as well. The condition is that each athlete (or team) can only be chosen once during the competition, which makes Survivor a strategic competition.
We have briefly introduced the competition system (don’t worry, we will return to it in detail in the following subchapters), now we just need to add at the beginning how to enter the competition, or where to find the competition. Let’s start with where to find Tipsport Survivor on the website. You can logically find an overview of all competitions under the “COMPETITIONS” button, which is located in the navigation bar at the top of the website. After clicking, you just need to select the desired competition from the menu. You can also choose from other competitions, such as Tipsport Tipliga, Tipsport Pyramida, Tipsport Tipcup, and others. Participation in all competitions at the bookmaker Tipsport is really easy. Basically, all you need to do is be a registered customer.
Competition system
- Tipsport Survivor is a strategic betting competition held within major sports tournaments such as tennis Grand Slams or the football World Cup.
- Participation in the competition is completely free and to enter the competition, you only need to have a player account with the bookmaker Tipsport.
- If multiple Survivors are available at once (for example, Survivor for Wimbledon men and Survivor for Wimbledon women), it is possible to participate in multiple competitions at the same time.
- The goal of the competition is to outlast all other competitors, or reach the very end of the given tournament.
- The task of the competitors is to choose one player or team (depending on the sport) in each round of the tournament. The chosen player or team cannot be selected again for the purposes of the competition, so it is necessary to plan your steps carefully in advance.
- What is the reward for the winner? Each Survivor has an initial prize pool, which can also increase with each participant. For example, the initial prize pool of Survivor will be set at 300,000 Nets, but for each participant, an additional 10 Nets will be added to this amount. With 20,000 players, the final reward would thus reach 500,000 Nets.
- If more players “survive” in the Survivor, the reward is divided equally. If no competitor successfully passes through the final, the player(s) with the highest number of successful picks will win.
- To participate in the competition, you must join from the 1st round; if you miss this, you unfortunately won’t be able to play in that Survivor and will have to wait for the next one. If you don’t want to miss the start of the Survivor, you can set up competition alerts in the settings.
- You can change your picks for the competition until the deadline of your chosen match. If the matches are listed, it is possible to place picks in advance.
Specific example
As an example, we chose the football World Cup, where Survivor starts with the first knockout match, which is the round of 16 (group stage matches are not part of the Survivor). In the round of 16, choose France as the advancing team in one of the matches. If France wins their match, you continue in the competition, but you can no longer choose France in any of the subsequent rounds. If the French team fails and is eliminated from the tournament, you also finish in the Survivor. Let’s imagine a situation where you continue in the competition. In the quarterfinals, you have to choose a team other than France. This way, you can reach the final, but if you use up all your favorites in the early knockout rounds, it may happen that you have no one to bet on in the later rounds. In this case, you finish the competition, and the number of successful picks is counted. If no one manages to pass all phases of the Survivor, the reward is shared (proportionally) among all bettors with the highest number of successful picks.
As you have surely understood from the example, to triumph in Tipsport Survivor requires strategic planning and a considerable amount of foresight. It is definitely worth always thinking ahead and saving your biggest favorites for the later or final stages of the tournament.

Participation in Survivor is really easy, just be a registered customer of the bookmaker Tipsport. And that’s practically all. It is then up to you whether you decide to enter the competition or not. There are no other conditions for participation.

After the end and evaluation of each round, you will find general information about the total number of bettors, advancing, and eliminated players in the “STATISTICS” tab.
